Dear Santa / Visiting Santa - Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop

Happy Friday everyone...and since it is the last Friday of the month, it is time for Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop. It has been a couple of months since I have participated as life's ups and downs have gotten in the way, but not for the last hop of 2016. Scrapping Our Stash is a group of paper crafters that are dedicated to once a month sharing creations using up their stash of older items.

It is just a small hop today, so I hope you have the time to visit everyone's blog and leave them some love!!! You should have arrived from Wendy's Blog, isn't her layout just adorable? The entire list is at the end of my post in case you get lost.

Here is my layout....

Adorable photo of my Grandson sitting on Santa's knee.

Here are some closeups....

I added some colour to a few of the ivy and candy canes on the background paper.

Of course I had to make a matching layout for my other Grandson....

Similar design, but not exactly the same.

And some closeups....

Product List: Recollections - Christmas colouring background paper, tags & reindeer, small pieces of Christmas cardstock from my stash, Me & My Big Ideas - Dot title and the green tag on Dear Santa layout and the black tag on Visiting Santa layout are upcycled clothing tags.

I was inspired by the sketch at Citrus Twist Kits for inspiration...

Now hop on over to Majken's Blog and check out her amazing project.

Saint Nick

Good Afternoon everyone...I am in a scrapping mood, so I have another layout to share with you today....

Don't those little faces just melt your heart? I took this photo at our local Burford Santa Claus Parade. One of the volunteers asked if we would like to have them both sit on Santa's knee for a photo and we jumped at the chance.

Here are some closeups...

I used the sketch from Citrus Twist Kits as my starting point.

Tis The Season

Good Morning friends, were are under a new blanket of snow here this morning. Most of our snow had melted with the heavy rain that we received on Boxing Day....but we are looking very festive once again.

I have a double layout that I created by mirroring a sketch today.

These photos were taken on our annual search for the perfect Christmas tree with the gang. All adventures with the gang are always fun, but searching for a Christmas tree is extra special.

Here is each page closer up....

And some closeups...

Product List: Recollection - Christmas colouring background paper, tag & wood title, MME - Comfort & Joy paper, Simple Stories chipboard and Fancy Pants alpha & flair.

I used the December 15th sketch from Sketch N Scrap as my starting point for each side of my double layout.

I was also inspired by the following challenges:

Celebrate You! Lasting Memories Layout Challenges - DT Reveal

Hello Friends, time for another Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team Reveal. We are continuing with the theme for December of "Best of 2016" and today's challenge is Anything Goes - but use photos that are from 2016.

My photos are from May when my daughter had come for a visit. She had just had her makeup and hair done for a personal photo shot for a wedding book. She was so stunning that I took her out to the garden and took some shots.

Here is my layout....

I created a double layout to capture all of the beautiful photos.

Here is each side close up..

And some details....

I stamped one of my favourite stamps on the background behind the photos to fill the blank space.

Product List: AC Cardstock, Pink Paislee - Memorandum paper & stickers, Merci flair and clip from my stash. The title is a Silhouette file.

Be sure to stop by the Lasting Memories Blog and see the rest of the teams creations and then get creative and link yours up before the end of the month. You have two weeks for this challenge.
