LIVE IT UP -LASTING MEMORIES LAYOUT CHALLENGES DT REVEAL

Happy Sunday Morning Everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend as much as I am. We had a very special day yesterday celebrating my daughter and her fiance at a couples wedding shower.

Today is time for the Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team reveal. We are continuing with the Musical Montage / ERA time theme and this week it is the present - 2000's!

Here is my layout....

I was inspired by the artist Pink, so I made a Girlie layout with lots of Pink!!!

This photo was taken last year at the ScrapMuch? ScrapPink fundraiser. My daughter won for wearing the most "Pink" items.

Here are some closeups.....

I made my favourite embellishment...a pinwheel! And typed out my journalling and cut it into strips.

I did a little watercolour on my background and then added some random stamping.

Product List - MME Paper, chipboard & brads.

I was inspired by the layout from Stuck?! Sketches.

Be sure to stop by the Lasting Memories blog to see what the rest of the team created! Link yours up for a chance at a prize or Guest Designer position.

Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons - Guest Design

I am thrilled to share with you this morning that I am Guest Designing today with Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons. They have such adorable cut files, I was so excited for this opportunity. I have two projects to share with you today.

The first is a Home Decor item that I created for my Scrapping Room.

I used the freebie from a few weeks ago to make this. I just enlarged it to be the full 12x12 size before I cut it on my Silhouette. I used Crate Paper papers for this. Then I added some flowers on each side at the top. A little machine stitching around the edge to finish it off. I just love the saying...perfect for all us crafters eh?

I have framed this in a scrapbooking layout frame and hung it in my room. I just love it.

Here are the cut files that I used....

For my next project, I made some decorations for my daughter's upcoming Bridal Shower. The theme is April Showers, so what better decoration then some adorable smiling umbrellas.

I enlarged these as well. The grey background piece fits on a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock.

And here are some closeups....

This is actually going to be a family Couple's shower, so some of the umbrellas are pink and some are blue.

And one sparkly one with lots of glitter.

And here is the cut file that I used for the umbrellas.... I added some pearl decorations to the points of the umbrella. Aren't they adorable?

The papers that I used for the umbrellas are from My Mind's Eye.

I hope you enjoyed my creations!

Thanks to Lisa & Shannon at Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons for having me as a Guest Designer.

I was also inspired by the challenge at Silhouette Challenges.

Have a wonderful weekend! Stay Crafty!!!

Big Boy in a Little Shirt - ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday DT Reveal

Happy Friday everyone...time for the ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday Design Team Reveal.

Here is my layout....

Anyone that knows me and my Grandson know that we are lovers of all things Minions. We picked up this shirt for him for his birthday. It was in a package and we figure since it was a since 10 it would be plenty big enough. When he tried it on, it was a tad too small. He wanted to wear it but it was very uncomfortable for him!

Here are some closeups...

I added some watercolour paint to my background and then stamped over top randomly.

Product List: papers by Authentique - Be(you)tiful Collection, Thickers, AC/Becky Higgins Die Cut Stickers, Doodlebug Design buttons & Montana Misfits twine.

Here is Laura's fabulous sketch....

Be sure to stop by the ScrapMuch? Blog and see the rest of the teams creations...and then stop back and share yours with us.

Remember - Lasting Memories Layout Challenges DT Reveal

Happy Sunday Everyone. Time for the lastest Lasting Memories Layout Challenges Design Team Reveal.

The theme for this month is "Musical Montage" and this week is the 80's.

Here is my layout...

I decided to use photos from the 80's to go along with the theme. This photo was taken of our daughter around Christmas time in 1989. She had the habit of making what she thought was a mean face by lowering her eyebrows. She was just adorable. Hard to believe she is getting married in a few weeks.

Here are some closeups....

Product List: AC Cardstock, 7 Gypsies Denim & Lace Pack, Teresa Collins Timeless vellum clocks, Epiphany Crafts, Dear Lizzy Thickers, Imaginsce die cuts, Evalicious Tin Pin.

I used the April 1st sketch from Stuck?! Sketches for inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by! Stay Crafty!!!
