'EGGS' - TRORDINARY!

Today I would like to share a layout with Easter photos from a few years ago. I will have to go back in my files to actually find what year.....

Every year my Mom would purchase eggs with names on them for all the Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. On this particular year, she searched and searched and couldn't find them, so she bought them all a bunny instead. She placed them all in a paper bag with their name on it and then the adults hide them all over the house. Harder spots of course for some!!!

Here is each page closer up....

They all were thrilled with their treasures...young and old!!!

And a few detail shots.....

I just love this subway tile.....

I used the sketch from Let's Scrap for my inspiration....

I was also inspired by the Link Party at Paper Issues.

***UPDATE - My layout was featured on Paper Issues - Fan Feature Friday - April 3rd***

Product list - Background paper - October Afternoon, other paper - Echo Park, Thickers, embellishments - Basic Grey stickers, Pinkfresh Studio Fresh Drops (arrows), American Crafts Delights and October Afternoon Tin Pin.

It was nice to do a double layout just for fun!!!

Scrapping Our Stash - Monthly Blog Hop

Well it is the last Friday of the month and time for Scrapping Our Stash Monthly Blog Hop. The idea behind this blog hop is to dig into that stash from papers that you have been hoarding saving for over one year.

You should have arrived here from  Cheryl's blog but if not, you can start from the beginning. See the entire list below....have fun!

I dug into my stash and found some baby themed papers that I didn't even know that I had....so I guess they have been around for awhile!!! LOL!!!

Here is my layout...

I used a couple more of my Grandson's birth pictures for this layout (I only have a couple left). He looks like a little Angel - hence the title.

Here is a closeup....

Product list - Fancy Pants - Baby Mine paper & stickers & glitter cuts, Heidi Swapp stickers, Queen & Co. Bling and Recollections wood veneer arrow.

I used the sketch from Sketches In Thyme.

I was also inspired by the challenge at Use Your Stuff to use stickers. The photo corners and the large heart (I put baby powder on the back and then pop dotted it for dimension) is a sticker.

Now hop on over to Majken's blog to see what she created!

And here is the entire list in case you got lost! Have fun hopping!!!

Somethings Missing

This is the last of the layouts to share with you this week from my scrappy weekend with family & friends.....

Here is Papa and Mason looking for that lost tooth on Family Day. Mason had lost his first tooth just a couple of days before this, but it was the first time Papa had seen him since the tooth went missing!

Here are some closeups....

I used my ScrapMuch? March Kit Club Kit for my layout. There is a wonderful selection of Kaisercraft cardstock & MME Paper, Die Cuts & Chipboard - Jubilee in the kit.

I layered up a piece of filmstrip tape from my stash with the ampersand chipboard.

A bright yellow Michael's doily is a great base for more die cuts and some MME arrow tape.

Anyone who knows me, I just love Hot Air Balloons, so this paper is some of my favourite!
The title is from Colorbok Alphas.

Here is the sketch that I used from Sketch N Scrap #76.

SOLD

Good Morning....this morning I would like to share another layout of the excitement of buying a home!!!

I layered up the heart doily at the bottom with a Martha Stewart key and a button from my stash.
I fussy cut the top of the doily to create a hole through the paper so I could tuck the teal paper behind.

I used a Fox Run doily at the top to create this cluster with some fussy cut items and another button with Darice twine.

I just love these beautiful Bo-Bunny papers! The title is Thickers.

I used the sketch from Canadian Scrapbookers Sketchy Challenge for my layout!

I was also inspired by the challenge at Kewl Beans.

Have a wonderful day!

Snow Days are the Best Days

I have one more winter layout to share....

On Groundhog day we had a snow day in our neck of the woods. Although our daughter lives in a different city, she had a snow day too. Her boyfriend took the photo in my layout of her and her pup!

I love the dark blue AC cardstock for the background of snow pictures. I added some Martha Stewart Sparkle Texture to the background with a stencil to give the effect of snowflakes.

Here are a couple of closeup shots....

The subway tile art from the Cata Bella paper was perfect for my title. I added a die cut arrow, some buttons from my stash with a loop of Darice twine and the Maya Road snowflake clip at the top.

I applied some baby powder to the back of the mittens and pop it up with pop dots to add some dimension to this cluster of stickers and buttons and the negative of the top arrow die cut.

Here is the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy Week 3 that I used as my starting point.

I was also inspired by the challenge #178 at Use Your Stuff  to use stickers from your stash.

Thanks for visiting! Stay Crafty!!!

Happy Easter

Today I would like to share a layout created with a photo of my daughter and Dad when she was very little....

This is one of my favourite photos ever. My Dad has been gone for over 22 years and this photo always makes me smile!

Here is a closeup....

Product list - October Afternoon paper & chipboard, AC Cardstock, Thickers and arrows from my stash. I added some machine stitching as well.

I used this sketch from October Afternoon Blog.

I was also inspired by the challenges at Scrapping 4 fun Challenges Challenge #38 Spring or Easter
and
the challenge at Cut It Up - Spring - Anything but a card Challenge #67 and my folder tab is my die cut.

It is a rainy one out there today, but hopefully that means it will warm up to be Spring soon!

Gr. 3

I am back with the second school layout as promised...

Once again I didn't add too many embellishments...I wanted that handsome face to be the star of the layout!!!

Here is a closeup showing a fussy cut apple, October Afternoon badge and a paper clip that I tied a bright red ribbon on as an embellishment!

I used more of that great buy Simple Stories paper, AC cardstock for the circle and photo backing, Thickers and MME enamel dots.

I used the sketch from Sketches In Thyme #141
