Today I would like to share a nice spring layout with you as part of the Stuck?! Design Team Reveal.

These photos were taken on Easter Weekend 2010 while the boys enjoyed cruising on their bicycles!
Aren't they adorable?

I created a banner of different sizes and added some Hemp by Hemptique and the buttons brads are from Michaels.

I cut out a couple of heart shapes and layered up some more banners and this adorable metal bike from Michaels.

The lettering is Thickers and the paper I used is from Simple Stories.
I splattered an assortment of colours of Mister Huey's Color Mists on my background.

And here is Laura's lovely sketch.....

Happy Birthday

I have a couple of cards to share with you that I created for family members.

I used the stamping and die sets from Local King Rubber Stamp.

I stamped once on my background paper.....

And then a second time and cut it out with the matching die and used pop dots to add some dimension to the cards. I loved how they turned out.

I am submitting these to Hiding In My Craft Room for HIMCR #145 - Super Scraps Saturday!
I used scraps of Jillibean Soup for my cards.
And Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #5 - Pick A Stamp - Any Stamp
And Catherine & Cathy Create - Fresh Beginings Challenge
And Stamping Sensations - use a die or punch

Other products used - Paper Studio card & envelope & American Crafts ribbon.

I want to wish my sister Brenda a very Happy 60th Birthday today!!!

Have a crafty day everyone!

Grand Photo Shoot!

One last post for you today....this one is from a sketch from Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. You can find all the info here.

I made a couple 3D embellishments. I love making rosettes!

Here is the sketch from Canadian Scrapbooker....

I am also linking this up with Kewl Beans for the sketch, and Scrap Our Stash Challenges.

The challenge is to Create a Spring Layout using spring colors and include the following Pre-made/packaged items from your stash:  Paperclip(s), Journal card and at least one 3D embellishment.
I used as many spring colours as I could....without using pink & purple on my boy layout. My paperclip is the key on the top right photo. And I have two 3D embellishments.

Have a scrappy day!

Cutie

I have another layout to share with you that I completed this past weekend while scrapping with family and friends. The sketch I used is from Colorful Creations.

My layout features my Grandson when he was just tiny.

Isn't he adorable!!!! A real CUTIE!!!

Brotherly LOVE - STUCK?! Design Team Reveal - April 1

It is hard to believe that it is April 1st. We had a beautiful Spring day yesterday with temperatures in double digits for the first time in a very long time! Let's hope it is here to stay!

For today I would like to share my layout with you for the April 1st Design Team Reveal for Stuck?! Sketches. You can find the entire reveal here.

Here is my layout.....

For my layout I printed my pictures using Sepia. They were taken indoors on a bright sunny winter's day, so they were very shadowy. I love how they turned out in Sepia.

I distressed all the edges of my papers and then inked them.

It produced a very layered look.

My paper and embellishment choice for this layout was October Afternoon - Sasparilla which is perfect for a very fun boy layout! The paper is an 8 X 8 paper pad....it is so perfect for creating layouts!

And here is Laura's sketch. I choose to use only two photos for my layout.

There are two great prizes from two wonderful sponsors for this sketch.

The prize from Creative Embellishments is a $20 Gift Certificate and....

And the prize from Scrapmuch? is a kit.

WOW!!! Two fabulous prizes again, be sure to link up your layout for a chance at the randomly drawn prizes!

Have a crafty day!
