Father's Day

I have another layout to share today. This layout features a photo taken on Father's Day. I try every year to take a picture of my husband with our children that are able to spend the day with their Dad. This year 2/3rds of them were able to join in the festivities.

The sketch I used for this layout is from Let's Get Sketchy, and you can find all the info here.

Here is the sketch......

And my layout from the sketch.....

And a couple of detail shots.....

For this layout I used My Mind's Eye - Good Day Sunshine, Head in the Clouds, On the Spot and Rock On Paper and embellishments. The lettering is Thickers.

Country Boys?

I have another post for you today staring our adorable Grandsons. This layout like the last was from a Community Appreciation Day recently at our local fairgrounds. The Agricultural Society has had a fundraiser going on to raise enough funds to build a new Agricultural Hall. Our existing hall had been in need of too many repairs and was torn down. The community came together and the funds have been pouring in. A Monster Truck show was held in appreciation of the tremendous support from the community. The new hall is on target to be completed for our Fall Fair on Thanksgiving weekend.

For this layout I used the September 1 sketch from Stuck Sketches. You can find all the info here.
And here is the sketch.....
